This thread is for helping DM's with gaming. Here are a few of mine to start:
1. Print out the Initiative sheets that are available for download on the WizO site. They are a big help when it comes to combat.
2. Require that each player have their own copy of the Player's Handbook(That way you will not have to wait for them to look something up should you both need that book at the same time.)
3. Write all of the NPC's and player's stats on one sheet. You can do this ith Microsoft word. This is your ref. sheet and should stop you from rumbling through papers to find stuff(You may have to use more than one sheet depending on how much info. you put on the sheet.
4. Laminate your battle grid. This way you can use it over and over again. Simply draw the rooms onto the grid.
5. Screen players and make sure they are not one of the player types from the 1001 Simple-minded Player Types sticky thread. If you met them on the WoTC boards there is a good chance that they fit one of the types.
