First of all, hello. Nice to meet you.
Secondly, are you new to D&D? Old player? Are you down with B4Real's game or are you running an independant game? Do you play or DM? Where are you from, if you don't mind divulging?
Sorry for the 21 questions, but I like to get to know the new posters.
With that said, a simple perusing of the PHB and/or Tome and Blood should suit you fine. Wish I had them right here now so I could give specific examples, but I know many of those feats will suit you perfectly.
What I mean is, while running my Ravenloft game, I once had a kid who insisted on playing a Wizard (against my wishes). So as DM, I made sure all rules were strictly enforced. Spell limits, memorization, components etc.
Well that friggin dice monkey was able to circumvent all the common wizard rules and regulations by buying specific feats. So I know for sure the right combination of feats will do you wonders. Would you mind listing the feats you currently hold?
peace, Sabrina.

MSD Hi, No I am not new to D&D, I have been playing since 2E. No I do not play with B4Real. I am a player, I do not want to DM right now. I am from Pennsylvania. I do not have that much time right now so I will post my feats, etc. at a later date.

*Breaks out his copy of Tome and Blood*
Do you have "spell focus", yet ? It says that "spell focus", is pretty good to have since it raises the save DC's of spells. If you already have "spell focus", then you may want to look at "Greater Spell Focus"(This feat is described fully within the pages of Tome and Blood.)
Also at a later date the guide reccommends "Spell Penetration", in order to help against creatures with Spell Resistance. You can also use Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot since ranged touch spells work pretty much the same as ranged weapons do. Point Blank shot and Precise Shot also work well with your bow and crossbow(If you have one that is.).
General feats are the best for Sorcerers because your casting the same spells over and over. Approach metamagic feats with caution, when you use a metamagic feat, it's a full-round action to cast a spell. You cannot take a move action during that round, which could be very dangerous in a fight. For a Sorcerer, Quicken Spell isn't even worth considering.
Maximize spell is also a good feat to have around 8th level. I hope that this helps at least a little.

Optimizing your Sorc eh?.. Well let me just say alot of these feats are in Neverwinter Nights so i'm not sure how many of these are actually in D&D but let's see here. *breaks out his NWN manual* Let's see Combat Casting would be good to take. Empower Spell would be good to, Extend spell is another goodie that is if you're going to use spells that have durations and that's a few of the basics, and remember like I said I know those are in NWN but not 100% sure if they're in regular D&D. And yes my thread did get quite ugly , but it got cleaned up . Anyways I hope I helped out a bit.

Btw, Never Winter Nights is also a component of the DnD world(NeverWinter is a city or village in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting located somewhere along the Sword Coast I believe(Don't quote me on the location since I have not used my FR campaign setting book in awhile, but it is in there.).). I am not too sure but I think that Extend Spell is in there as well. Also, my apologies on how ugly your monk thread was getting. I made sure the un-related comments were deleted, it is as good as new now. ~Az

Yea it's just in NWN for the comp there are some added feats so I was giving out that little warning some feats might not be valid y'know? And thanks for cleaning it up . Oh and Sabrina if you need some ideas on skills i'd definatly pour alot into concentration, Spellcraft, Knowledge Arcana, and Reading Writing if you wanna be able to write scrolls.

No problem. I have to admit that I myself contributed to taking the thread off course a bit(With my personal views on the monk class. Some people may just be better at utilizing the class than others. From what you have posted it is obvious that you know what you are doing. which is why I cleaned it up and then re-opened it. ~Az
